Lincoln Families - we will dismiss at noon on Wednesday, June 3rd. We will celebrate our graduating 6th grade students on Wednesday beginning at approximately 11:30 AM by having them walk our halls one last time for a graduation walk! Families are welcome to attend!

Hello Lincoln Families - Thank you for an excellent week! Our pictures this week show our Preschool graduation ceremony on Wednesday afternoon!

Here are a few upcoming dates for our calendars:
5.29 - Field Day beginning at 1:30 PM
6.1 - Field Day (Rain date)
6.2 - Awards Ceremony for grades 3-6 beginning at approximately 9:00 AM in the Gym
6.3 - Last day of the year! Variety show beginning at approximately 9:00 AM, we will hold our 6th grade Graduation Walk at approximately 11:30, student dismissal at 12:00 PM
6.4 - Report cards will be sent home

As our school year closes, we request that students only bring water to school. If you choose to visit a local coffee shop, please help your students finish before entering school. Thank you!

End of the Year Lunch Balance - In order to balance our accounts in the lunch program at the close of the school year, we need to have your child's lunch account balance at 0 or above. Please bring it up to date as soon as possible. Any remaining balance will remain in your child's account and carry over for next year. If your children will not be attending Cedar Falls school next year, please let us know as soon as possible and they will be given a refund of the balance left in their account at the end of the year.

Summer Reading Opportunities - The Cedar Falls Public Library, UNI, Barnes and Noble, and Pizza Hut are all offering summer reading programs with tons of fun free events and prizes! Click here for more information (https://tinyurl.com/mwzxc7ft)

Sturgis Falls Choir - This ensemble is made up of students from across Cedar Falls in 3rd- 6th grades. Students rehearse for one hour a day the week of Sturgis Falls (June 22nd-June 25th, 5-6:00 PM at Lincoln Elementary) and perform at the opening ceremonies in Overman Park. Not only is it fun to work with their elementary music teachers in June, but participating is FREE! Students must register with this link (https://tinyurl.com/52ehp6zu) so we can get them their free t-shirt! There is a cap on how many we can take, so sign up today!

Team Lincoln Night at the Waterloo Bucks! The Waterloo Bucks have provided two free tickets for Lincoln families to attend a game on Monday, June 29th. These can be picked up in the office. If you would like to purchase additional tickets, please use promo code: “CFLINCOLN2026” In addition, students can sign up to help at the game to help sing the National Anthem, to throw out the first pitch, to be a high five kid, to be on the youth team of the game, a lineup card exchange kid, the “play ball” kid or to be a PA announcer for an inning. If you would like to claim one of these spots, please email Mr. Bryant before June 25th.

Hello Lincoln Families - Thank you for an excellent week! Our pictures this week show our 5th and 6th Grade Orchestras playing a recruitment concert at Cedar Falls High School on Wednesday for 3rd graders across our district.

Fifth Grade Band Information Meeting - There will be a Fifth Grade Band Information Meeting on Tuesday, May 19th at 6:30pm in the Hansen Elementary Cafeteria. This meeting is required for all fourth grade parents from Hansen, Lincoln, North Cedar, and Aldrich whose children are interested in joining the band next year.
