Starting Tuesday, September 8, the City's Public Works Division will close a portion of the northbound lane of Rownd Street for scheduled maintenance work.

To allow the work to be completed safely and efficiently, please follow all construction signage. The work is expected to take approximately one week to complete, weather permitting.

For everyone’s safety, please stay outside the closure area.

Don't miss the Recreation Center Expansion Plan Open House TODAY from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at City Hall! 🎉

ℹ️ Building on previous studies and an evaluation of the current Cedar Falls Rec & Fitness Center (110 East 13th St.), the City is exploring two potential paths forward:
- Renovate and expand the existing Recreation & Fitness Center
- Plan a new recreation facility

This is an opportunity to:
- View the proposed options and plans.
- Learn how each option could address current and future recreation needs.
- Talk with the project team and ask questions.
- Share which features and improvements matter most to you.

The project presentation will be at 5:00 p.m., and all are welcome!
