WHO WE ARE
Founded in 1938, Republican Women of Black Hawk County (RWBHC) is a grassroots political organization, educating women on local, state and national issues. As members of the National Federation of Republican Women and the Iowa Federation of Republican Women , we strive to strengthen the Republican Party by recruiting and electing candidates; advocating the Party's philosophy and initia
tives; and empowering women of all ages, ethnicities and backgrounds in the political process. Our goal is to provide a forum for all women to be key players at the political table on local, state and national issues. Our objectives are to:
• Make our voices stronger in the issues important to women.
• Become effective leaders and volunteers for campaigns and issue advocacy.
• Activate and financially support grassroots efforts in electing Republicans.
• Promote an informed public through political education and activity.
• Increase the effectiveness of women in the cause of good government.
• Support the objectives and policies of our State and National Federation of Republican Women.
• Work for the election of Republican Candidates.
