Ringo will be staying at the vet for a couple of days. Dr Deraleau has started him on oral antibiotics along with eye drops to see if we can stop the infection and hopefully keep some of his vision. She also gave him some steroids. She’s keeping a close eye on the pr*****ed re**um as well. We don’t want to do an unnecessary surgery. She said he’s been a very vocal patient and does not like being in jail. He said his rights along with certain body parts were violated 😂
Ringo is requesting pro bono representation.
Keep him in your thoughts and prayers and send all the good juju his way as we wait patiently for his little body to start healing

Ringo is on his was to see Dr Deraleau at Brookside Animal Hospital. He will get a full exam and we will make a plan to try and get him healthy. We did discover that he does have some vision in the left eye. As for the pr*****ed re**um, we will just have to wait and see what her suggestion is for that. If you can help with this visit, we’d be forever grateful. You can call the vet or use one of the links below

Update on our kiddos we took in yesterday. Matilda the 5ish week old girl is doing great. She is starting to drink from a bottle and is very vocal.

Baby Harold on the other hand will be seeing our vet in the morning. I thought upon intake he was a little limp but didn’t see any signs of trauma other than the small abrasion on his hind leg. After a more thorough exam we have discovered he has little to no use of his hind legs. He does retract some when doing the pinch test but drags himself when moving around the incubator. This may be from a fall or something genetic and why he was possibly left behind.
We desperately need help…
