We offer athletic leagues for adults or youth at various athletic facilities; a variety of Active Senior programs at the Cedar Hill Senior Center; and several aquatics programs at Crawford Park Pool in the summer. Sims Cedar Hill Recreation Center where you can get in a great work out, host your own special event or find that perfect program for anyone in the family. This week's spotlight shines on Vicente Chavez! In his second year at The Lagoon, Vicente has become a leader among our lifeguard team and a great example for new staff.

“This is his second year working at the Lagoon and he’s been a great leader and example for the new staff. When he performs a rescue, he’s decisive and precise, showing great attentiveness and skill. We love having Vicente as part of our team!”

A little bit of rain couldn’t keep us away from a good day of fishing 🎣😉

The Kid Fish Tournament in Valley Ridge Park was full of smiles, big catches, and even bigger memories.

Congratulations to all of our tournament winners Diego Ruiz, Roselyn Logan Davault, and Christopher Zapata 🏆 and thank you to every family who joined us!

☀️ Week 1 of The Alan E. Sims Recreation Center Summer Camp is officially in the books! Campers kicked things off with a week full of fun, creativity, and new friendships. 🎨🌳

Due to storm damage, Parkerville Park will remain closed indefinitely as repairs are made.

Cedar Hill Parks & Recreation and Public Works crews are assessing, repairing, and cleaning up damage around the city.
