Zula B. Wylie Library Friends The Friends of the Cedar Hill Library provides support for programs that promote literacy and more in the new Traphene Hickman Library in Cedar Hill, Texas.

In a town of 45,000 people, we usually have about 2,000 children and teens alone to sign up for our summer reading program. The Zula B. Wylie Library Friends supports the summer reading program by covering the cost of math, reading, and science teachers, along with many other elements that make this program a huge success each year. Our goal is to promote literacy and lifelong reading by raising f

unds to cover programs, food, prizes, etc. As a testament to the work we've done, the organization has received the Excellence Award for the tenth consecutive year!

Enjoy great food while supporting the Traphene Hickman Library! Today, when you order food from On the Border in Cedar Hill, proceeds from your bill will go to Friends of the Cedar Hill Library. We support the library in various ways:

We help fund travel for Youth Storytellers.
We donate to the Summer Reading Program each year.
We want to help provide tutoring for people of all ages.
We want to do so much more!
