state of Texas. Located approximately 16 miles (26 km) southwest of downtown Dallas and is situated along the eastern shore of Joe Pool Lake and Cedar Hill State Park. The population was 45,028 in the 2010 census. Cedar Hill is a suburb of Dallas and is part of the Best Southwest area, which includes the nearby cities of DeSoto, Duncanville, and Lancaster.

As severe weather is coming our way, the Cedar Hill Fire Department are reminding residents how the Outdoor Warning Siren System works. The Outdoor Warning Siren System is activated by the Fire Department's Office of Emergency Management to alert the outdoor public of a potential or imminent threat including:

🌧️ Trained storm spotter report of a tornado
🌧️ Hail 1.5” or larger
🌧️ Winds of 70 mph or higher

Ms. Lillie Mae grew up on a farm and learned the lessons of life from her caring mother and father. She served and worked as a nurse’s aid in a nursing facility for 28 years and retired at 86 years young. She previously lived in Corsicana and now calls Cedar Hill home. ♥️
She is blessed with 8 children, 19 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren and 36 great-great grandchildren! Talk about a legacy. ✨
