The continued outpouring of support from our community is incredible and so very much appreciated by every member of our Department. Thank you!
Over the weekend, a few of our officers stopped for some lemonade from Luke and Jude's market.
Thanks for taking the time to visit with us!
Shout out to Girl Scout Troop #9436!!! They dropped off a bunch of delicious cookies for our officers yesterday. Sonic also joined them. You may remember him and his sister from when some of our officers visited their lemonade stand a few weeks back!

🔥 PSA: Fireworks are Illegal and Dangerous. Don't Risk A $2000.00 Fine! ! 🔥
🔥 Cedar Hill residents, please be aware: The use of fireworks are strictly prohibited within our city limits. Not only is using them illegal, but they also pose serious dangers, especially in hot weather. Here's what you need to know:
1️⃣ Stay Safe: Fireworks can cause injuries, property damage, and even loss of life. Don't put yourself or others at risk.

3️⃣ Report: If you see fireworks being used within city limits, report it to the Cedar Hill Fire and Police Southwest Regional Dispatch Center at 972-223-6111 .
🙏 Let's Celebrate Responsibly! 🙏

UPDATE: THE CHILD HAS BEEN IDENTIFIED. Once again the power of our citizens has helped!
We need your help in locating the parents or guardian of this child.

This closure is this Tuesday and Wednesday. Please seek an alternate route. If traveling to or from Grand Prairie use Lake Ridge or FM 1382.
⚠️ ⚠️ BNSF will replace the railroad crossing on Belt Line Rd. between Main St. and Roberts Rd. next week on June 13 and 14.
While we’re all excited for a smoother ride over the crossing, this means that Belt Line Rd. will be closed between Main St. and Roberts Rd. on June 13 and 14 while they complete the work. All traffic will be detoured off Belt Line Rd.
If you’re not able to avoid the area, give yourself a little extra time for your commute on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Did you know that Texas hasn't had a deathless day on the roads since 2020? A growing number of those deaths are pedestrian fatalities. Help increase your safety as a pedestrian, use a crosswalk, bright colors, or reflective materials at night, and pay attention to traffic more than your cell phone. Stay safe on Texas roadways!
We would like to welcome Citizens Police Academy Class #34 who graduated last week! A special thank you to all those who came out and supported the graduates. A date and time has yet to be determined for Class #35, but if anyone is interested, please contact Corporal Donny Brackenridge (CPA Coordinator) at 972-291-5181 ext. 2106.
We hope you all enjoyed a safe holiday weekend! We take today to remember those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. To these service members, their families, loved ones, and all who have chosen to serve. THANK YOU!
