We are so thankful for the Deeds family! Their leadership, passion and service has made such an incredible impact on us at the food pantry and across our city! We love you both and you certainly deserve to be celebrated for your service.
Michael and Trish Deeds relocated to Cedar Hill from Austin in 2001.
Since 2013, he served on the Planning and Zoning Commission, both as Chairperson and as Vice-Chair.
He served on the Master Plan Committee and the 2017 Bond Committee.
Michael volunteered as a member of the Cedar Hill Food Pantry’s Advisory Board. Since 2007, he served as the law firm’s coordinator and as a volunteer for the Cedar Hill Rotary Club’s Head for the Hills Bike Rally.
After her retirement, Trish found ways to keep busy! She started volunteering at the Cedar Hill Food Pantry in 2004, became a board member in 2005 and has served as President and a variety of other positions. She is still serving as the Treasurer.
In 2006, she became a member of the Cedar Hill Rotary Club, serving two terms as President. She was an integral part of the Head for the Hills Bike Rally since its inception, coordinating volunteers and rest stops.
Trish served on the CHISD Education Foundation board for twelve years, as President and in various other positions.
She became a member of the Dogwood Canyon Audubon Center Stewardship Board in 2018.
Trish served on the 2017 City Bond Committee and was named the 2017 Cedar Hill Woman of the Year.
Michael and Patricia have relocated to the Cedar Creek area earlier this year. Both are looking forward to full retirement and spending time with family. Michael and Patricia’s heart for service exemplifies the distinctive character our city is built on and we thank you both for being Great Impact Servant Leaders.
