The City of Cedar Key City Commission and Local Planning Agency will hold a Joint Public Workshop on the RV Park Moratorium on Tuesday, November 10, 2026, at City Hall, 809 6th Street. The workshop will begin immediately following the CRA Meeting, which starts at 3:00 p.m.

The workshop will focus on receiving public input and discussing the moratorium, including concerns, potential regulations, and possible next steps.

The workshop notice is attached. The CRA Meeting agenda will be posted separately.

Both meetings are open to the public, and residents and interested parties are encouraged to attend. Anyone needing accommodations to participate should contact the City Clerk’s Office at [email protected] before the meeting.

The Cedar Key Police Department is taking part in DEA National Prescription Drug Take Back Day. Clean out your medicine cabinet and drop off unused or expired medications for safe, free disposal.

✅ Accepted: Prescription and over-the-counter pills, tablets, capsules and patches. V**e pens with batteries removed.

The Florida Primary Election will be held at Cedar Key City Hall on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, with polls open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

City Hall will be closed for regular business that day while voting is underway. We’ll reopen for normal operations on Wednesday, August 19.
