Public Works will be open for residents to drop off brush and storm damaged items this Saturday 8/22 from 9a-1p.

Public Works will be open this Saturday 8/15 from 9am – 1pm. Residents can bring branches, yard waste and items for the dumpsters.

Republic Services will do their best to collect as much storm debris as possible on Monday. Please help by:
• Putting anything that will fit into your trash or recycling bin.
• Breaking larger items into 4 foot sections.
• Keeping bundles around 40 lbs. or less and securely tied.
• Do not place branches in plastic bags.
• Keep large tree trunks and oversized debris separate from regular household garbage.
Due to the extraordinary amount of storm debris throughout the community, collection may take longer than usual. Republic Services will make every effort to collect what they can on Monday.

In the aftermath of yesterday's storm, Lake County residents are advised to report any damages sustained by contacting 211. This vital service is available to all residents and municipalities.

Public Works crews are all out across town responding to the damage and doing what they can to clear roads and address urgent situations.

Please stay safe, avoid downed power lines and blocked roadways, and only travel if necessary.

Please do not call the Town’s lines to report storm damage or branches. We are aware of the widespread damage, and we need to keep phone lines available for urgent needs and emergency response.
