This is so sad, so terribly sad man, endings like this just floor me man cuz i know it don't have to happen ... Couple of months ago, brother reached out to me, he wanted to change it up a little bit, he was living in shelter in there at BrothersKeeper on Broadway .. So I got with him, connected him with one of my guys, but he was so buried in his thinking that he couldn't or wouldn't might be a better word change his thinking and pull himself out, he stopped talking to me and I couldn't get him back ... Found him dead in the woods in M-ville ... Dammit man!! Prayers four D, and his extended family would you guys please? I'm telling you, man, there's only a few ways this goes, if you stay stuck in you're thinking, it goes jail's, institutions or death. Addiction is one disease that you can arrest, instead of you getting arrested or found in the woods dead ... Get with somebody you trust. I say this all the time, but you gotta make sure they care about your heart and not your wallet. .. if that's somebody is me fantastic, if not get with somebody, you don't have to live miserably alone, because you ain't alone, not by a long stretch ... If you reach out to me and I don't hit you back right away, blow my phone up, I will respond ... If I don't respond right away for some crazy reason, do it again and don't stop until you hear back from me ... D didn't have to go out like this and neither do you ... Warriors bring it for D's family would you please ... 💔

UPDATE!

Good morning family, this is a big day for B, I have done all I can as far as arranging treatment, sending acceptance letters to the court and organizing, after a mix up on my part between him and M .. If the court will agree to release him from jail., B will be on his way to begin his journey within a couple hours ... Warriors, please pray specifically that the court will understand what I am trying to do .. but more importantly His will not mine be done .. stay tuned! And Happy Wednesday ❤️

So this just in, as I was reconnecting and explaining what happened with my fb jail episode ... it brought an amazing sense of gratitude ..

Another fella, I was sharing with, I got to say this to him ..

"The Lord my God, walks before you, beside you and behind you as long as you believe He does .. now go in Faith .. Happy Thanksgiving"

Ya see family, when I am driven by my own, will on my own power, I run into stuff man, I get jammed up and I sometimes wonder what's the use you know what I mean? I really can't do anything man on my own power because I by myself, am weak. Looking at some stats yesterday, it helped me to understand that there are 700,000 homeless around us. This fact alone caused me to pause, it caused me to realize that right now I am warm, I can eat if I want to and because you guys share with me, I can feed others. I ain't gonna mention your names because I don't believe that's why you do it, just know that the God I serve sees you, and for you, I believe that is enough. Ya know guys, when I'm up against it, where I feel like I'm up against it. God didn't go anywhere.It was me you know what I mean? Let me challenge you today to seek out somebody with less and if you are able, give them more ... If it is you, the one reading this are the one in need, know too that the same God that stands in for me, will give you what you need merely for the asking ... but you gotta ask man, put your pride in the can and ask .. If you ain't sure about this asking thing, then reach out to somebody that you know, if it aint me, then somebody that you trust, somebody that's interested in your heart and not your wallet. The God I serve will use that person that you ask until you ask on your own, He don't care how long it takes time ain't a thing with him... this I know. I love you all, Happy Thanksgiving ❤️

Its Happening ... Regarding the historic Gary Land Company Building, 4th & Broadway Gary ( pinned, at the top of my page here ) ... I will be on site this morning to do a material take off and get this project started. It is possible this will be the final project for Its Garys Time Inc .. I am so thrilled and honored, shout out to Ellis Dumas III Mayor Eddie D. Melton and certianly Linda Jones, for this amazing honor .. what a way to go out .. If anybody would like to contribute to this amazing opportunity in any way, I wanna know. I will be offering a tax deductible receipt and displaying your organization sign (which I will provide for a minimum donation). You will be recognized whether you're an organization, a business or individual for the duration of the project. You'll be right there with me right in the center of the city along 4th .. Good morning family, just wanna take a second to acknowledge a dear sister in Christ Penelope Love .. Just a few years after I got here and formed Its Garys Time she began a mission and called it AMRP Aetna Manor Revitalization Program. For the last 11 years, Penelope has answered the call to help revitalize her neighborhood, barely acknowledging a thank you and taking very little money... God only knows how much of her own money she put into it. Penelope was called, this I know. Today it comes to an end, but only in name. I know that her mission will never end .. Job well done good and faithful servant 🙏

If this ain't the coolest honor, next to working with families, that's been bestowed upon me since I got here, then I honestly don't know what is. I have been granted the task of managing and cosmetically restoring the oldest permanent structure in Gary Indiana, The Gary Land Company building constructed in 1906. This is pretty awesome, the home to Gary's first Post Office.
First town offices, Town Hall, even the first high school ... I will be donating my services to the effort ... I gotta pinch myself man... Working on a plan to make it happen. With God this will come to fruition, but I will be calling on you to help. Shout out to chief of staff Ellis Dumas and Mayor Eddie D. Melton for trusting me with this honor ❤️... Stay tuned!
