New here? Start with this post. 💜

Yesterday’s Gone is a one-year transitional housing program for women, their children and their pets who are healing from abuse and trauma. We give them a safe home, counseling, life coaching and the support to truly start over, and we’re also a resource center for women who need help but can’t move in.

We are not government funded. Everything we do is possible because of people like you.

Angela, we’re so grateful for you 💜

As you head into this next chapter, we want to take a moment to say thank you. So much of what Yesterday’s Gone is today was built with your heart, your hard work, and your belief in what this mission could become.

You helped lay the foundation that so many women, children, and pets are now finding safety and healing on. You were here in the early days, telling our story and making sure our community knew who we were. That kind of work doesn’t go unnoticed, and it will always be part of who we are.

You’ll forever be part of the Yesterday’s Gone family. We love you, we’re cheering you on, and we can’t wait to see all the places this next adventure takes you. Safe travels!

October is officially Domestic Violence Awareness Month in Williamson County 💜

Today October 6, 2026 we stood alongside the Williamson County Commissioners Court as they made it official, and we’re so honored that Yesterday’s Gone was named in this year’s proclamation.

It meant a lot to be in that room surrounded by law enforcement, advocates, and community partners all wearing purple for the same reason. This work takes all of us, and moments like this remind survivors that their community sees them, believes them, and stands with them.

Thank you to the Commissioners Court for using your voice to bring awareness to domestic violence, and to every partner who showed up today. We’re grateful to do this work alongside you.

This month, we invite you to learn the signs, check on the people you love, and wear purple with us. 💜

If you or someone you know needs help, you’re not alone. Reach out to us at 737-600-9245

Mark your Calendars, Liberty Hill. This night out is for a good cause 💜

👉 Comment INVITE and we’ll send the event link straight to your DMs!

Join us for a Sip & Shop at The Vinew benefiting Yesterday’s Gone. There’ll be food trucks, drinks, games, raffles, and plenty of great shopping, all while giving back right here in our own community.

Our goal is to raise $10,000 for Yesterday’s Gone in one night, and we can’t do it without you!

10% of all proceeds from the evening go straight to helping women, children, and their pets find safety, stability, and a fresh start after abuse and trauma. Every purchase, raffle ticket, and drink brings us one step closer to that goal, and one step closer to a new beginning for a family in our care.

Whether you’re planning a girls’ night, want to meet some new faces, or just need a reason to get out of the house, we’d love to see you there.

OCTOBER is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. 💜

1 in 3 women in the U.S. has experienced violence or stalking by a partner. In just the past year, more than 9 million people lived it. And it doesn’t stop with adults. Children are seeing it at home, and teens are facing it in their very first relationships. Swipe through to see what the latest national data tells us. ➡️

But we know these aren’t just numbers. Each one is a woman or child with a name, a story, and the strength to keep going.

At Yesterday’s Gone, we walk beside women and children as they heal and rebuild their lives after abuse, offering safety, support, and hope every step of the way.

💜 Comment SUPPORT to learn how you can make a difference in the lives of women and children who have experienced abuse and trauma.

If you’re in it right now, please hear this: it’s not your fault, you’re not alone, and there is a way forward.

If you or someone you know needs help, please reach out to us at 737-600-9245 or visit yesterdaysgone.org.

We’re officially going purple. 💜

Starting this month, you’ll see our brand in a new light, a shift that reflects the heart of what we do here at Yesterday’s Gone. But this isn’t just a new look. It’s a reminder of why we exist.

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and this color change is our way of standing with every survivor, every family rebuilding, and every life we get to walk alongside. Purple has long been the color of courage and healing for survivors of domestic violence, and now it’s woven permanently into who we are.

This is more than a rebrand. It’s a commitment.

If you or someone you know is affected by domestic violence, know that help and hope are available. 💜
