At the end-of-year LISD PTA Council Meeting, Deer Creek Elementary was recognized in two special ways.

Our very own community member, Susan Boren, was recognized as Adult Volunteer of the Year! Susan faithfully gives her Tuesday mornings to help at Clothes Closet — even when it’s not an assigned workday. Her generosity and commitment help make our community stronger each day.

DCE was also awarded “Most Adult Volunteers” for the elementary school level at the South Location!

We are incredibly thankful for volunteers like Susan who give their time and heart to our school and district.
