Cedar Park Public Library Foundation We're amplifying the Library's impact on our community because everyone deserves lifelong opportunities to learn and grow.

The Foundation supports the annual summer reading program and enrichment programs for all ages, as well as technology solutions that enhance customer service to Library users. In 2017, 52,447 community members attended programs sponsored by the Foundation! Books for Babies is a project designed to encourage early literacy in Cedar Park by providing a new book, an invitation to get a library card, and literacy literature to each newborn baby in Cedar Park. The goal is to improve overall literacy in the community, and reduce the academic disparities between wealthier and low-income children.

Big news from your Library Foundation 📚

The Chapter Society, our monthly giving program, has been quietly changing Cedar Park Public Library since January 2025 — one monthly gift at a time, from $10 to $100.

Our founding donors were the first to believe. This October, we're inviting all of Central Texas to join them.

City funding covers the essentials. The Chapter Society is how we fund everything beyond the essentials. Join by December 31, and you'll also get a Founding Member tote bag and holographic sticker.

💚 What a wonderful Saturday! We had so much fun being a part of the Cedar Park Public Library's Maker Fest: Craft Fair. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to create your custom pouch design! We hope you're loving it!

Thank you to our volunteers who helped at the sublimation station, the makerspace tour, and the Donor Suite. You made the day extra special for our donors and library patrons alike!

Special shout-out to Bill Miller Bar-B-Q, Chick-fil-A Cedar Park, Starbucks, and Costco for donating food and beverages for our donors to enjoy!

Want to be part of all the fun we have while supporting our community through the library? Reach out! We'd love to connect with you!

Before the Chapter Society, Jacob relied on books to explore his interest in photography.

Then a Chapter Society gift helped fund expert-led workshops, bringing in a professional photographer to host the Teen Photowalk.

Today, Jacob has stepped out of the reading room and into the field, capturing creative shots and mastering new perspective techniques.

The Chapter Society is our monthly giving program — $10 to $100 a month funds everything beyond the essentials. Read more stories like this one every month in The Next Chapter, our newsletter.

October is National Book Month, and we can't think of a better time to say thank you.

To every member of The Chapter Society: you're the reason this library keeps growing beyond the essentials. Every story shared, every new reader, every "I found it!" moment has a little bit of you in it.

Every thriving library has a community behind it. Ours has you. 💛
