When I was volunteering to GOTV last weekend, I ran into two Black men completely uninterested in voting. It broke my heart 💔. Worse was the one who told me he didn’t think women were emotionally stable enough to run the country. With that I headed recent advice, “don’t argue with fools” and I walked away. I hope everyone else VOTES!! We worked hard for the right to vote! Exercise it. Wisely.

GOVT!!! The time is urgent to help people to vote!

We need volunteers this Saturday to register voters in Mound View and Wellington Heights in Cedar Rapids!

We will meet this Saturday, September 28th, from 11 AM to 1 PM at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church. We will be door-knocking, texting, and calling to register people to vote. You can choose what you want to do--we will provide training and a buddy.

Please park in the church lot on the 2nd Avenue side. There is a buzzer near the entrance and someone will direct you to the proper location.
