Cedar Springs Middle Level Schools are our 6th-8th grades. Red Hawk Intermediate is our 6th-grade building and is located at 204 E. Muskegon, Cedar Springs, MI 49319. We uphold a core curriculum that meets or exceeds state and national standards and provides a full complement of extracurricular, athletics, and fine arts programs. The middle school strives for excellence through continual evaluation, feedback, and revision of programs and processes. One of our guiding principles is that we will develop all students to become educated, self-confident, responsible citizens in a changing world. We want all children to develop to their full and wonderful potential.

If your student is interested in athletics through CSMS, please create your account in FinalForms, complete all parent/student forms, pay the pay to play fee and upload a current sports physical!

Middle School Fall Sports include:
Girls Volleyball - 7th and 8th grade
Coed Football - 7th and 8th grade
Coed Cross Country - 6th, 7th, and 8th grade
Girls Sideline Cheer - 7th and 8th grade

Summer workouts, open gyms and other skill opportunities by sport are happening now, so get involved and get ready for the fall!

Open for ALL middle school students - Summer Strength and Conditioning program at the high school weight room/turf area:
Middle School Boys: Monday & Wednesday, 10 - 11 am
Middle School Girls: Tuesday & Thursday, 10 - 11 am

Does your student want to participate in Volleyball? Our Volleyball program is offering summer open gyms for incoming 7th and 8th grade girls.
Starting June 15th there are open gyms on Mondays from 10-12 am and Wednesdays from 6-8 pm in the MS gym.
(Wed. July 24th is from 10-12 pm and the week of June 29 - July 3 is a dead week)
Tryouts will begin the week of August 17th. All athletes must have a sports physical (dated after 4/15/26) on file before they can tryout.

Our High School is also offering strength and conditioning for our Middle School Girls on Tuesday and Thursdays from 10 - 11 am over the summer in the HS Weight Room.

Come in and get some work in over the summer to prepare for tryouts! Also, please follow our Volleyball program page "Cedar Springs Red Hawk Volleyball" for any updates and additional information.

Is your student interested in Football?

The Middle School offers 7th and 8th grade coed football in the fall as a school sport.
There is an opportunity for incoming 6th - 8th graders to participate in the Cedar Springs Youth Football Camp on July 20 and 21st. This is a basic football skills camp and each camper gets a T-shirt.

Our High School is also offering strength and conditioning workouts for our Middle School Boys on Mondays and Wednesday from 10 - 11 am. Come and get some work in over the summer to prepare for the season! (High School Weight Room)
