There have been calls to residents of Cedarburg from individuals who claim to be from a Law Enforcement Agency and request money.

No one from the Cedarburg Police Department or other Law Enforcement agencies will call you regarding warrants, loved ones in custody, or any other matter while requesting you to send money via credit card, cash, gold, or gift cards.

If you receive one of these phone calls, VERIFY with your local law enforcement agency and do not send any money.

Look for a post soon regarding Scam Prevention seminars hosted by the Cedarburg Police Department in September and October.

Clydesdale Parade Information for Thursday, July 30, 2026

On July 30, 2026 the Budweiser Clydesdale Wagon will have a parade along Washington Avenue from Spring Street northward to Gate 1 of the Fair Park. Parking along Washington Avenue will not be restricted, however vehicles parked on Washington Avenue along the parade route will not be able to leave until the parade has passed through. Roads intersecting Washington Avenue along the parade route will be closed to traffic during the parade. The timeline is noted below:

1:45 p.m. Spring Street between Hilbert Avenue and Washington Avenue will be closed for the parade set up.
2:45 p.m. Washington Avenue will be closed to traffic
3:00 p.m. Parade begins at Washington Avenue and Spring Street, heading north to the fairgrounds
4:00 p.m. Washington Avenue will be re-opened to normal traffic flow

It only takes a few seconds to lock your vehicle, but those few seconds can prevent a crime of opportunity. Whether you're at home, at work, shopping, or out enjoying our community, always:

✅ Lock your vehicle doors
✅ Remove or hide valuables from plain sight
✅ Take your keys and key fob with you
✅ Close all windows and sunroofs

Most vehicle break-ins occur because offenders find an easy opportunity. Don't make your vehicle an easy target.

If you notice suspicious activity in your neighborhood, report it to the Cedarburg Police Department. Working together, we can help keep our community safe.

The Cedarburg Police Department is now accepting applications for the position of patrol officer. Applications must be submitted by 4:00 p.m. Central Standard time on Wednesday, August 26, 2026.

On Tuesday June 23rd, 2026 the Tour of America’s Dairyland WILO USA Cedar Creek Classic bike races will once again take place in the City of Cedarburg.

Roadways related to the races will be closed from approximately 8:00am to 10:00pm, with Washington Avenue closing around 7:00am to allow for setup. Access to residences and businesses in the area will be limited during the event, but anyone wishing to get onto Madison, St. John, or Hanover should approach from the north side of the course where the car icons are shown on the map.

There will be “No Parking” signs related to the race footprint placed out prior to race day. Any vehicles remaining on the roadway leading up to the races will be subject to towing. Please review the attached map.

HUNTER SAFETY FIELD DAY

Hunter Safety Field Day: Cedarburg Police Department will sponsor a Hunter Safety Field Day on Saturday, August 22, 2026 from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The Field Day will be held at Saukville Gun Club, 4191 Blue Goose Road, Saukville, WI. This Field Day is being held in conjunction with an internet course offered by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. The online course is a pre-requisite for participation in the Field Day. Both are required to qualify for a Hunter Safety Certificate.

Interested individuals must complete the online course and obtain a DNR customer ID #. If you don’t already have a DNR customer ID, you can set up a new customer profile at:
