On Friday, May 29, 2026 Chief McNerney was honored to attend the homecoming ceremony for Officer Tony Jones, who has been on a year-long oversees deployment with the Wisconsin National Guard, 2nd Battalion, 127th Infantry Regiment. Officer Jones' family attended the homecoming as well and provided some of these photos.

Welcome back stateside, Tony! We're glad you're back home safely. Officer Jones will be taking a few weeks of well-deserved military leave before starting his field training program.

Electric motorcycles such as Sur-Ron, Talaria, and other eMoto-style bikes are NOT street legal in the City of Cedarburg.

These off-road motorcycles are NOT classified as e-bikes and cannot legally be operated on public streets, sidewalks, or bike paths.

Before purchasing or riding, make sure you understand the laws and regulations to avoid citations, fines, or other penalties.

On May 13, 2026, "Pipers" played Amazing Grace at the Cedarburg Police Department to honor fallen Law Enforcement Officers across the State of Wisconsin.

The Midnight Piper honors fallen law enforcement officers during National Law Enforcement Officer Memorial Week. The public is welcome to attend.

We are again honored to have a Midnight Piper for National Law Enforcement Memorial Week. The Midnight Piper will play at 11:55 p.m. this Wednesday, May 13, 2026 to honor fallen law enforcement officers. Anyone is welcome to attend the event, which will occur in front of the Cedarburg Police Department, W75N444 Wauwatosa Road, Cedarburg, WI.

Introducing K-9 Blue, a sable Malinois-Shepherd mix. Blue was born in Hungary in September 2024 and imported by Shallow Creek Kennels - Premier Police Service Dogs in Pennsylvania. K-9 Blue is paired with Officer Wyatt Ecclestone, who has been with the Cedarburg Police Department since December 2022.

K-9 Blue and Officer Ecclestone spent 6 weeks of rigorous training at Shallow Creek Kennels, which was completed April 24, 2026. K-9 Blue is trained in narcotics detection (co***ne, he**in and methamphetamine), as well as search & tracking, and handler protection.

Watch for K-9 Blue and Officer Ecclestone, now patrolling the streets of Cedarburg. Welcome K-9 Blue!
