Central Taney County Fire Protection District hosted training tonight with Cox on how to set up and coordinate a Landing Zone for helicopter rescues. It was well attended by several fire departments in the area including Cedarcreek.

The new brush truck responded to its first actual brush fire today. Fortunately it was a very small fire on Starfall and it was easy to extinguish. As usual we are always looking for volunteers to help with many tasks around the department. You don't necessarily have to fight fires we have things that need to be repaired and other easy tasks that can be completed in your spare time.

The Cedarcreek Fire Department held a drafting training session Saturday morning at the Moore's Bend public access. We had a good turnout of volunteer firefighters! We are always looking for new young energetic volunteers!
