Create something beautiful! Join us for a fun, hands-on jewelry-making workshop with Naomi Rabinowitz. Using colorful fusible glass, each participant will design 4–5 unique pieces of jewelry to take home, including earrings, a necklace, pin, and rings!

For the first time in New York, Orthodox Jewish families will have access through the state’s Women, Infants and Children nutrition program, WIC, to a Cholov Yisroel infant formula — dairy produced under Jewish supervision.

The change could have particular significance in the Five Towns, where the UJA-Federation of New York’s 2023 Jewish Community Study estimates there are more than 40,000 Jewish families — 69 percent of whom identify as Orthodox Jews — including 15,000 Jewish children. Far Rockaway is another community noted for its Jewish population.

Since January 2024, our Mighty Inspirers Vocational Support Group has been helping participants build the skills, confidence, and knowledge needed for successful employment.

Each session offers a welcoming space where members can connect, share their work experiences, discuss workplace challenges, and learn from one another. Through creative workshops and group activities, such as imagining their dream jobs and exploring the importance of teamwork, participants strengthen their communication, problem-solving, collaboration, and other essential workplace skills.

Most importantly, the group is shaped by its members. Their questions, ideas, and interests help guide future discussions and workshops, making every session engaging, meaningful, and fun!

The Gural JCC Golden Notes Senior Choir performed a wonderful medley of songs for our beloved Holocaust survivors.

The choir also shared a special birthday song for our treasured member, Leah Goldberg, who recently celebrated her incredible 101st birthday. Mazel tov, Leah! 🎂✨

From tip-off to the final buzzer, our athletes represented the Gural JCC with determination, teamwork and incredible sportsmanship throughout the 2026 JCC Maccabi Games. We are so proud of everything they accomplished on the court, and of the friendships and memories they made along the way.
