Our 1st grade classes were challenged to show their very best cafeteria behavior by following all cafeteria rules and leaving their tables clean and tidy!

Congratulations to Mrs. Dillard’s class for rising to the challenge and earning a popsicle party with Mrs. DeLong!

Way to go, 1st grade! We’re proud of you for making good choices and taking care of our cafeteria!

🎶✨ What would Dolly do? ✨🎶

Today at Cherokee, we celebrated the one and only Dolly Parton with plenty of sparkle, smiles, and a little 9 to 5 energy! 💖🌟

We had a great time celebrating a woman known not only for her music, but also for her kindness, generosity, and love of literacy. 📚💕

Because around here, we believe in dreaming big, working hard, and spreading a little kindness along the way—just like Dolly! 🦋✨

🏃‍♀️🏃 Locomotor License Earned! 🎉

Our Kindergarten and 1st Grade students have been busy in PE learning and practicing their locomotor movements—walking, jogging, running, skipping, galloping, sliding, hopping, jumping, and leaping!

These Bulldogs have successfully completed every movement on their Locomotor License and are officially licensed to MOVE! 🪪🐾❤️

We are so proud of their hard work, coordination, and determination. Way to go, Bulldogs! 👏🐾
