We're grateful to Hightower Construction for donating two loads of topsoil for our playground and to our PTO for purchasing grass seed, straw,hose and a sprinkler. Thank you to Mr. Lance for coordinating this and to our maintenance staff for working hard to get the dirt leveled and the grass seed planted before it rained.

Join Ranger Cody as he discusses the Civil War at Fort Smith and the BIG guns they fired! Try on the equipment, bark the orders, and learn how to fire a real cannon! Finish the program with park volunteers firing the cannon on your order! See you then!

Summer School and Pirate Camp start MONDAY! Drop off at CHS between 7:30-7:45 am. Students can not be dropped off prior to 7:30 am. Students will return to HS for lunch between 11:20-11:45 am. All students staying for summer camp will go to the afterschool building at 11:45 am. Please make arrangements to pick up prior to 5 pm.
