The Cedarville Township Zoning Commission (ZC) will hold a public hearing at the
Township Office located at 13 S Main Street, Suite 13, Cedarville on September 29, 2026,
at 7:00 pm.
The purpose of the public hearing is to review and act on Zoning Resolution text
amendments to the following:
ZC 01-26 - 410.4 CONDITIONAL USES
ZC 02-26 - 202.001 ACCESSORY USE or STRUCTURE
ZC 03-26 - 533 DRIVEWAY ACCESS SUFFICIENCY REQUIREMENTS.
The hearing is open to the public. At the conclusion of the hearing the text amendment

This project includes, but is not limited to, a full-depth reclamation (FDR) of 10-12” using 5%
cement and 2” asphalt concrete surface over the FDR, and re-ditching some areas. Bids will be received via the Bid Express website (www.bidexpress.com) until 10:00 AM., Tuesday 28, July, 2026, for the proposed Harbison Road Improvement Project in Cedarville Township and Miami Township in Greene County, OH. Said bids will be opened and read aloud soon thereafter in the Greene County Office at 615 Dayton Xenia Rd, Xenia, OH 45385. Performance of all work incident thereto in accordance with the plans and specifications and the Ohio Prevailing Wage Laws under the State of Ohio, Department of Commerce.
Instructions on how to bid are available on the Greene County website,
http://www.greenecountyohio.gov/Engineer located in the Bid Letting link on the left. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form,
shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety.
Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. The owner intends and requires that this project be completed no later than August 31, 2027.
All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will to the extent practicable use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123 is required.
Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Greene County as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Bureau of Wage and Hour Administration,

For those interested in the opera house or the availability of a bank in Cedarville ...

The steeple will be placed on the tower at the opera house on Thursday May 28 at 10:30. Feel free to come downtown and watch the steeple being put in place. Should be quite a sight!

We are also happy to announce that a lease has been signed with Merchants National Bank. They will move into the corner space of the opera house when it opens.

There will be representatives from Merchants Nation Bank at the steeple raising. Stop by and say hi!
