The Village is accepting sealed bids for a 2006 Chevrolet Impala. This vehicle will be sold as is, and full payment must be made within 72 hours of bid being accepted. Bidding will close on July 6, 2026 at Noon. Please contact me at (815) 541-3054 with any questions. Sealed bids can be turned in at Village Hall during working hours.

Cedarville Spotlight.....

The Cedarville United Methodist Church is doing great things for our community. 🤩

"The Cedarville United Methodist Church serves the needs of the community by providing a monthly food pantry. What started as a monthly dinner has evolved to a monthly food pantry.

The Cedarville Community Food Pantry is located at 600 W Washington St at the church and operates as a drive-thru, with services typically available on the third Tuesday of each month.
The food pantry is staffed with volunteers who do anything from pick up supplies, stock the shelves, secure donations and load people’s cars on pick-up day.

The volunteers are always pleasant and helpful and like the church itself are providing a great service to the community.

Cedarville Spotlight..... A good neighbor increases the value of your property.

"On Wednesday 6/10, we had a storm come through Cedarville that took out a walnut tree near the edge of our yard. It fell across Oak Ridge drive while I was at work. By the time I got home, it was laying just off the street on my side of the street. My neighbor John Hudson had worked to move the tree off the street so people could continue to use the street until I got home to properly clean it up.

John is also a member of the Cedarville American Legion, and marches in the Memorial day parade as part of the rifle squad each year.

Thank you for your service and thank you for the assistance with the downed tree!"

Swing by Lena Sullivan's next weekend and support the museum!!

The Cedarville Area Historical Society is thrilled to be grilling at the Brat Stand at the Sullivans in Lena on June 12th and 13th. This will be a big fundraiser for the museum this year and we look forward to seeing all of you there. Always nice to have a reprieve from cooking. As always we appreciate your support and we love seeing you at our events.
