Now that we've had some time to catch our breath after a spectacular pull this past Sunday, we want to take a moment to say THANK YOU!

THANK YOU to all those who came out to enjoy the show!
THANK YOU to all the pullers who we always count on to put on a great show!
THANK YOU to all the sponsors who's support goes directly to getting these great pullers here!
And last but not least, THANK YOU to all the community members who volunteer their time to work the event as it takes way more than the department members and spouses to make this a success!

As always, we will build off what we learned this year in hopes of making next year even better as we have for over the past 40+ years.

Tomorrow is the day! Come out for all the food and fun you could want on a Sunday afternoon!
These events and the funds we raise from them are what allow us to maintain the respectable fleet of apparatus and other life saving equipment, and we couldn't do it without you!

Our track will be rumbling Sunday August 23rd as all the pullers come from near and far to put on the great show that they always do! In addition to the pull we will also be serving meals and selling our soup that everyone always raves about! We hope to see everyone out enjoying a great day with their family while also supporting us!

Mother nature showed her mightiness this weekend but our little community stepped up to show it is pretty mighty itself in making the most of Streetfest with the less than favorable weather. Thanks to all those who were patient with all the schedule changes and cancellations but still came out to enjoy the activities, great food, and great entertainment that did go on. What could have been a complete washout turned into a great night, and all the support is so important in allowing the Streetfest to continue to make positive financial impacts to all the community organizations it supports! Kudos to the event committee and all the volunteers who make it happen, and here's to what will hopefully be a drier 2027 fest and the chance to bring the truck pull axe back home!

Thanks to everyone who came out for the open house yesterday! Now we shift our focus to the upcoming National Fallen Firefighter Memorial which will be held this Sunday, May 3rd. We will join in honoring our very own, Luke Gehlhausen, along with over 200 other firefighters from across the country who have passed away in the line of duty in recent years. One way you can join in honoring these firefighters here locally is by displaying a red light outside your home or business this week as part of the Light the Night for Fallen Firefighters leading up to the memorial on Sunday.

Tonight marks the beginning of a powerful nationwide tribute.
From April 26 through May 3, we invite you to take part in Light the Night for Fallen Firefighters by shining a red light on your home, fire station, business, or community landmark.
This simple act creates a meaningful symbol of remembrance and unity—honoring the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to others.

Reminder of our open house tomorrow April 26th from 9-12 with the dedication of our new fire engine at 11:15!

We invite the community to join us Sunday April 26th from 9-12 to an open house in which we will have our new fire engine out for everyone to see along with meeting both new and old members of the department. A dedication and blessing of the truck will take place at approximately 11:15.

We took advantage of the nice weather Monday evening to do some extrication training during our monthly meeting. Training at hours after daylight when accidents commonly requiring extrication is important so that we can brush up on our skills in real world environments!
