The Celina Police Department was honored to assist with ๐๐ฅ๐๐ง๐๐ฉ๐๐ค๐ฃ ๐๐ค๐ฉ๐๐ง๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ก๐, a large-scale child exploitation enforcement operation conducted in partnership with the FBI โ Federal Bureau of Investigation, the ๐๐ค๐ง๐ฉ๐ ๐๐๐ญ๐๐จ ๐๐ฃ๐ฉ๐๐ง๐ฃ๐๐ฉ ๐พ๐ง๐๐ข๐๐จ ๐ผ๐๐๐๐ฃ๐จ๐ฉ ๐พ๐๐๐ก๐๐ง๐๐ฃ (๐๐พ๐ผ๐พ) ๐๐๐จ๐ ๐๐ค๐ง๐๐, and numerous local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies.
Conducted during March and April 2026, ๐๐ฅ๐๐ง๐๐ฉ๐๐ค๐ฃ ๐๐ค๐ฉ๐๐ง๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ก๐ resulted in 276 arrests related to child exploitation offenses and the rescue of 89 children. The operation focused on identifying and apprehending individuals involved in the possession, distribution, production, and promotion of child sexual abuse material, online solicitation of minors, human trafficking, sexual assault, and other exploitation-related crimes.
These results reflect the dedication of 197 law enforcement professionals representing 91 agencies across Texas, including investigators, digital forensic examiners, analysts, prosecutors, victim advocates, and child advocacy partners working together to protect children and hold offenders accountable.
The Celina Police Department remains committed to working alongside our law enforcement partners to investigate crimes against children, identify and support victims, and hold offenders accountable. Operation Soteria Shield highlights the importance of collaboration in protecting vulnerable children and ensuring those who exploit them are brought to justice. Investigations remain ongoing, and additional arrests and charges may follow as cases continue to develop.
