Celina Tree Commission The Celina Tree Commission (Ohio) was re-established by Celina City Council in 2023.

The Tree Commission shall consider, investigate, make findings, report, and make recommendations regarding trees to the City Administration.

WHY PLANT A TREE? Trees filter air pollutants. Through the process of photosynthesis trees convert carbon dioxide into oxygen. The oxygen produced by the trees is very important for humans and animal life on Earth.

*primary pollinators include ants, bees, beetles, butterflies , flies,birds,hummingbirds and moths.

What can we do to help save our pollinators?
*Plant native flowers, TREES and herbs
*Grow in the sun
* provide long-lasting blooms through all the seasons.
* plant in groups ( at least 3 plants)
* No insecticide use
* Leave the leaves
