October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and our team wore purple to show our support for survivors of domestic violence.

What does a little help look like?

Sometimes it's a bag of groceries that helps a family get through the week. Sometimes it's assistance with an unexpected expense when the household budget is already stretched thin.

Through Our Home's Direct Services Program, we work with Mercer County residents facing financial challenges and help connect them with available resources.

Community support helps make this work possible. Whether you've donated food, contributed financially, or shared information about our services, thank you for helping us be here for our neighbors.

Angel Tree Registration Is Open!

Our 2026 Angel Tree Program is officially open for registration!

If you live in Mercer County, meet the program’s income eligibility requirements, and have children who will be 12 years old or younger on Christmas Day, your family may qualify for our Angel Tree Program.

Applying is easy! Simply visit www.ourhomefrc.com/angeltree to complete the online registration form.

Please remember that registration closes on Tuesday, November 17, so be sure to submit your application before the deadline. We cannot accept late applications.

We know the holidays can bring extra financial stress for families, and we want to help make Christmas a little brighter for local children. If your family could benefit from the program, we encourage you to apply. And if you know a family who might qualify, please share this post so they don't miss the opportunity!

Winter Warmth Day is tomorrow!

If you need a warm winter coat for you or your children, join us Saturday, October 17th, as we help Mercer County families prepare for the colder months ahead.

Thanks to the generosity of our community, donated winter items will be available from 11am-1pm to help our neighbors stay warm this season.

A big Thank You to the Fort Recovery High School SADD Club!

Pictured are the club officers. Members organized a winter coat drive and generously donated all items collected to Our Home Family Resource Center for distribution during Winter Warmth Day.

Domestic violence doesn't always leave visible bruises.

It can also involve controlling finances, monitoring someone's phone, isolating them from friends and family, or making them afraid to disagree.

Recognizing these behaviors matters. So does knowing that support is available, even when someone isn't ready or able to leave a relationship.

Throughout Domestic Violence Awareness Month, we're sharing information to help our community better understand abuse and the resources available to survivors.

Sunday is the last day of our Winter Warmth Day collection drive!

We're wrapping up our winter clothing and supply collection as we prepare for Winter Warmth Day on Saturday, October 17th.

Thank you to everyone who has donated, collected items, or helped spread the word. Your generosity will help our Mercer County neighbors prepare for colder weather.
