Clay County Schools Closed — August 28, 2026

All Clay County Schools will be closed on Friday, August 28, 2026, in observance of the funeral service for Mitchell Boles, which will be held at the Clay County High School gym.
On this day, Clay County Schools will honor the memory and spirit of Mitchell, a bright light and an inspiration to all who knew him. His kindness, joy, and impact on our school community will not be forgotten.
During this difficult time, we extend our deepest condolences to Mitchell’s family, friends, classmates, teachers, and all those who loved him.

JOB SUMMARY:

Seeking full-time special education teacher assistant to serve students at Celina K-8 School.

LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, AND REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED:

Must be able to pass a required background and fingerprint check
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
Must earn a passing score on paraprofessional test

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Prior experience preferred, but not required.

Due to the inability to properly staff the before and after school daycare, the Kid's Klub will no longer be able to provide these services at Celina K-8. This will take effect starting Monday, August 31, 2026. We are sorry for the inconvenience. If you need bus transportation, please call Avery Johnson, the bus supervisor, at 931-243-5502. Thank you.

Skyward will be unavailable starting Monday, July 13, 2026. It will be down for a few days because the State of Tennessee is changing its servers. During this time, school staff and you will not be able to use Skyward. This means we cannot print any forms, like transcripts or driver's license forms. If you need any of these documents for next week, please get them before the end of this week.

After the server change is finished, you will have a new link to access Skyward for families and students. We will share this link on our websites and pages. We will also send out a new ParentSquare post with the link. Your username and password will stay the same.
