The Celina Police Department is proud to assist fellow agencies in removing dangerous drugs from our streets and protecting our community.

On 05/04/2026, the Pickett County Sheriff’s Office requested assistance from Assistant Chief Spencer Booher and K9 Kilo during a traffic stop.

Upon arrival, Assistant Chief Booher observed that deputies had one male subject in custody and one female subject detained. Assistant Chief Booher deployed K9 Kilo to conduct a free-air sniff of the vehicle. During the deployment, K9 Kilo displayed a change in behavior consistent with the expectation of being reinforced at the target odor.

A subsequent search of the vehicle resulted in the discovery of approximately 6 grams of suspected methamphetamine, along with a pipe commonly used for smoking narcotics.
