Our team recently took part in technical operations training focused on technical rescue, giving our newer members the opportunity to learn valuable skills while allowing our experienced members to sharpen and refine theirs.
We couldn’t be prouder of everyone who showed up, put in the hard work, challenged themselves, and continued to grow. Every evolution, every challenge, and every lesson makes us a stronger and more capable team.
A huge thank you to those who took the time to teach, share their knowledge, and help our team become better prepared to serve our community.

Starting from our headquarters at 5,531 feet and ending on the summit at 13,261 feet, our team put their endurance, teamwork, and technical skills to the test yesterday. At our annual High Altitude field training, every step was an opportunity to prepare for the real-world missions we may face.

We are incredibly proud of the dedication, strength, and teamwork shown by our members yesterday!

Celebrating the Class of 2026!

Yesterday, we graduated 22 incredible members from Arapahoe Rescue Patrol.

As a high school-based team, graduating high school also means graduating from ARP. Over the past few years, these members have given dedication and countless hours to learning how to serve their community.

Now, they’re taking those experiences with them into their next chapters. Whether they stay in first response or pursue entirely different paths, we know they’ll continue making an impact wherever they go.

Thank you to our graduates for your hard work, commitment, and service to ARP. We are incredibly proud of you and excited to see what comes next.

Our graduates are always welcome back as Graduate Members, and many continue to return and serve alongside the team.

Congratulations, Class of 2026! We’ll always be proud to call you ARP members.

Yesterday, our members had the opportunity to learn from the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office!

We're incredibly grateful for continued support of ARP and for the time, knowledge, and experience they share with our members.

During this training, our members gained knowledge surrounding general awareness and safety. Trainings like this help our team grow, prepare to better serve our community, and may even inspire future career paths for some of our members.

Yesterday, we traded in our uniforms for some well-earned fun. From water balloon battles to games and an unforgettable tug-of-war, it was a day to celebrate the people who make our team what it is—our members and, just as importantly, their families.

To our families thank you for the middle-of-the-night rides to callouts, for the interrupted dinners and holidays, for the last-minute schedule changes, and for supporting your loved ones as they answer the call to help others. Your sacrifices and encouragement are a huge part of what makes this team possible.

Thank you to every member, every parent, every sibling, and every friend who stands behind our team. We couldn’t do what we do without you. ❤️

Recently, ARP has been busy, between training, incident responses, and events, our team has been working hard.
Last weekend, our team completed our annual survival training. Members spent the first night of this training alone and had the afternoon to build their own shelters with what they carry regularly. The second day, members chose groups and worked together to build large shelters to keep everyone protected and dry. Members also got to practice skills like Water filtration and wilderness first aid.
This training is a great reminder of how important teamwork is and what you can accomplish with it.

Last week, members of the Arapahoe Rescue Patrol were honored to assist our partners at the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office in the search for a missing person.

While we always hope for a different outcome, our hearts are with the family and loved ones as they navigate this profound loss. We extend our deepest condolences during this incredibly difficult time.

We would also like to express our sincere appreciation to our fellow search and rescue partners, including the Colorado Search and Rescue Association and Search and Rescue Dogs of Colorado.

This weekend, we completed the final basic training session for our new members. This was also an annual opportunity to refresh skills for all membership. After many miles, blisters, and challenging moments, our newest probationary members are now active members of the Arapahoe Rescue Patrol. Their dedication and hard work mark the beginning of a transformative journey that will have a lasting impact on their lives. We are incredibly proud of each member for completing their training and pursuing their mission to help others, truly embodying the spirit of “so that others may live!”
