RMEL Foundation Promoting careers in the electric energy industry. Both corporate and individual donations have been received. Scholarships were first awarded in 2001.

The Alltricity Scholarship Foundation (formerly RMEL Foundation) was incorporated on May 5, 1999 and received its 501(c) 3, IRS non-profit, tax-deductible status on March 3, 2000. The Alltricity Scholarship Foundation’s purpose is exclusively for the charitable and educational purposes of awarding scholarships to deserving and qualified students in engineering or curriculum related to the utility

industry. The Silent Auction was established in 2000 and the Spring Conference golf outing in 2001. The goal of the Foundation is to grow its endowment and also provide scholarships out of current income.
