The Erie Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing 15-year-old.

Ethan Fisher was last seen on May 25, 2026, at approximately 2:42 p.m. near WCR 7 & WCR 12 in Erie, Colorado. He left his residence shortly before this time and was reportedly going fishing at Thomas Reservoir.

Ethan is described as approximately 6’0” tall, 210 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing baggy jeans, a baggy black t-shirt, a green and white baseball hat, black and pink shoes, and a silver bracelet with a turquoise stone. Ethan was riding a purple and black mountain bike and may have been carrying a backpack containing fishing gear.

Ethan reportedly made comments about going to the mountains and attempting to live in the wild on his own. At this time, there is no information suggesting foul play, and Ethan is not believed to be in immediate danger. Officers are actively working to locate him and ensure his safe return home.

We understand the community may have questions, and we want to clarify:
• There is no known threat to the public.
• Officers are continuing to follow up on leads and reported sightings.
• We ask the public to avoid speculation on social media, as inaccurate information can interfere with the investigation and Ethan’s safe return.

If you have information regarding Ethan’s whereabouts, please contact the Erie Police Department at 303-441-4444. If you see Ethan in real time, please call 911 immediately.
