State and Local Cyber Security Grant Program (SLCGP) Application Period Reopened. Deadline to Apply is September

The SLCGP award application period is officially reopened to allow more local governments, public safety and emergency services and special districts to submit their applications.

During this award period the applicant must commit to a 40 percent match requirement.

Due Dates

🗓️Application Available: Friday, August 28, 2026

🗓️Application Submission Deadline: Wednesday, September 30, 2026

🗓️Notification of Award Recommendation: Friday, October 30, 2026

🗓️Request for Reconsideration: Tuesday, November 10, 2026

❗️TRAVEL ALERT- ROAD OPEN - Westbound I-70 between New Castle and Silt❗️

⚠️UPDATE - 1:45 a.m. (8/31/2026) - 1-70, westbound is OPEN. Please drive with caution through the area.

🚫Westbound I-70 is CLOSED between New Castle and Silt 🚫 - 9 p.m. (8/30/2026) - I-70 westbound lanes are closed from New Castle, Mile Point 101, due to mudslide and flooding.

Commuters can expect detours onto US 6 and the frontage road. There is no estimated time for reopening.
