Author Talk/Book Discussion with Dr. Mark Helfat
Join us in celebrating Nichols Memorial Library's 116th birthday with this special early evening event!
June 18, at 6 pm

Local resident Dr. Mark Helfat, has written a thrilling crime novel titled A Vet's Story.
The first 10 people to sign up for his author talk/ book discussion will receive a free copy of the book in advance of the event to read and to keep!
For all you murder mystery buffs, hurry to register as this is one exciting event that you won't want to miss! This event is free to attend, but please pre-register by Tuesday, June 15th to attend, as seating and copies are limited. (603) 253-6950 or email us: [email protected]

Books details: Dr. Sam Haken cannot rest until he avenges the brutal murder of a fellow veterinarian and friend. A Vietnam War veteran, he travels the U.S. and Canada on this dangerous quest while recounting numerous personal anecdotes from his most unique pet and livestock encounters.

Tuesday's Paint A Pet Party was a B-I-G success! Thanks, especially, to artist Ann Xavier who supplied the chalkware pets, and to Magie Gurney, owner of Artfully Resilient, who supplied the watercolor paints. Hey, kids and caregivers! Join us for a FREE Paint-A-Pet Party next Tuesday, April 28 during spring vacation week! Choose a chalkware puppy, kitten, fish or turtle and paint your pet just the way you want to! The Paint-A-Pet Party will be held on Tuesday, April 28. Drop in anytime between 10 am and 1 pm. Still some seats available. This event is absolutely free, but please call to pre-register by Monday, April 27.
