🚜 Street Sweeping Schedule for Next Week 🧹

The street sweeper will be making its way through Center Line next week. Please help by moving vehicles off the street when possible so crews can thoroughly clean our roads.

📅 Schedule:

Monday, June 15
• Between 10 Mile Road and Wood, west of Van D**e

Tuesday, June 16
• Between the Service Drive and 10 Mile Road, west of Van D**e

Wednesday, June 17
• Between Stephens and Engleman, east of Van D**e

Thursday, June 18
• Between Engleman and the Service Drive, east of Van D**e

Friday, June 19
• Any areas that were missed earlier in the week will be completed.

NOTICE: WATER BILL PAYMENT RETURN ENVELOPE ERROR

Unfortunately, for the second time in less than one year, the printing company mailed the most recent water bills with a return payment envelope addressed to the City of Warren. These bills were sent in envelopes like the one shown above.

Please do not use these envelopes to make your payments.

Please send your payments to:
City of Center Line
7070 E. Ten Mile Road
Center Line, MI 48015

If you have already mailed your payment to the Warren address, please contact the city for assistance.

You may also:
Pay in person at City Hall
Use the payment drop box at City Hall
Pay online (with a 3% fee)

The notice also states that the city will be soliciting bids for a new printing company.

🚧 Road Closure Notice | 2026 Center Line Independence Festival

As part of the 2026 Center Line Independence Festival, 10 Mile Road between Lawrence Ave. and Van D**e Ave. will be closed beginning Thursday morning, May 28, 2026 through Monday afternoon, June 1, 2026.

➡️ Access to businesses on the south side of 10 Mile will remain available via:
• The east/west alleyway from Lawrence Ave.
• The Coolidge St. alleyway from the north, east, or south

➡️ Access to businesses on the north side of 10 Mile will remain available via:
• Lawrence Ave. on the west side
• Van D**e Ave. on the east side

🍃 Brush Pickup Notice 🍃

Due to preparations for the upcoming Festival & Carnival, brush pickup will not take place this week as City crews assist with event setup and operations.

Brush collection will resume the following week, and crews will pick up all accumulated brush at that time.

Big changes are underway on Van D**e! 🚧

The Van D**e Road Diet Project has officially begun as part of the Center Line Downtown Development Authority master plan to create a safer, more walkable, and more vibrant downtown corridor.

Lane closures are currently in place as crews begin improvements focused on:
✅ Better traffic flow
✅ Enhanced pedestrian safety
✅ A more accessible downtown
✅ Future beautification and streetscape upgrades

This project marks an exciting step forward for the future of Center Line, and we appreciate everyone’s patience during construction as we continue building a stronger downtown for our community.

Residents can use the color-coded schedule to find their weekly pickup day for trash, recycling, and compost collection. Please remember that holiday weeks may cause collection delays by one day.
