EXPLORERS POAT 540 IN SAR TRAINING

-Installation Dinner held-

The 2020 Installation Dinner was held today for Explorer Post 540 at Center Moriches Fire Department Headquarters.

2nd Assistant Chief Phil Masterson installed our 2020 Officers:

Captain Jeremy Masterson
Lieutenant Jaylen Dyer-Hart
Lieutenant Alex Devaux
Sergeant at Arms Joseph Masterson
Secretary Connor Morano

Afterwards, certificates of appreciation were issued to our 2019 Officers for their service during the past year:

Captain Natalie Symes
Lieutenant Aidan Pellegrino
Lieutenant Jeremy Masterson
Sergeant at Arms Jaylen Dyer-Hart
Secretary George Mayer

Certificates of Merit were awarded to our members with the highest point (attendance) totals:

1st - Joseph Masterson (97%)
2nd - Connor Morano
3rd - William Masterson

A service award was presented to Aidan Pellegrino for his 5 years of dedicated service to the program and community.

The Rookie of the Year was awarded to Secretary Connor Morano, one of 10 new members the post brought in within the past year. The award was presented by 2018 recipient, Natalie Symes.

The Member of the Year was awarded to Captain Jeremy Masterson. The award was presented by 2019 recipient, Natalie Symes.

The Advisors Committee would like to thank Chief Masterson for attending the event, and thank all our member's families for their support!
