At the Legion we fully understand service to something bigger than yourself. Volunteering, being there to toe the line in the face of chaos. I would like to take a quick moment to comment about another organization that does the same.
The Center Point Volunteer Fire Department . Do you have the inner desire to serve a higher purpose, be involved more in the community?
You don’t have to be a firefighter—you just need the willingness to learn, serve, and help your community. Men and women of all ages are encouraged to get involved.
High school students can join the Explorers program and start learning about firefighting, teamwork, leadership, and community service.
Volunteerism is about giving back and being part of something bigger than yourself.
Step up. Get involved. Make a difference.
Reach out to the CPFD if you are interested, reach out to the City of you would like to know about other volunteer options.

Today a few members stopped by to see Taylor at Bullys North in Center Point and Mike at Giveys Place in Alburnett. The Legion gave them plaques in appreciation for their support of the Legion and the local communities as a whole.
Thank you to both, we appreciate you... now everyone swing by both establishments, grab something to eat, a cold beverage and thank them for their involvement in the community.

Huge thanks to everyone that came out to the 1st annual CP Legion & FD sweetcorn BBQ... already looking forward to next year and growing it more and more with activities!

Today we received a generous and kind gift from the Bowers family.
Our greatest privilege as a Legion is giving our fallen brothers and sisters, with their families, the proper and dignified laying to rest with military rites they earned through blood, sweat and tears.
It will always be our most cherished service we provide.
