The Roughrider Broadcast Team is excited to get the 2026 Season underway Friday Night as the Center Roughriders play their first game against the same team that ended last season. In last year’s playoffs, Center lost to the Van Vandals by a 2-pt conversion in overtime, 48-50. This season, Center hosts Van to begin the Jack Alvarez era!

The broadcast begins at 6:30 with the Wright Chrysler Dodge Pregame Show. We get to know our new head coach and chat with senior Payden Fountain. Kick-off is 7 pm. Then during the Farmers State Bank Halftime Show, Center Auto Motor brings us our first glimpse of the CHS Band, and Dr. Anna Shirley brings our first glimpse of the CHS Chaparrals. Then during the Aurora Concepts Postgame, we’ll meet our Center Motor Co. Player of the Game.

We are all so excited about our upcoming sporting events this school year, but we also want to remind everyone that our clear bag policy is still in effect. This policy applies to all sporting events at all venues within the district. Please take the time to look over the attached graphic showing approved and unapproved bags.

We look forward to cheering on the Riders with each of you this year, but as always, we want to do it with safety in mind!
