To our valued customers,

Please be aware that we are still under a conservation order but despite the community's efforts under this order, water demand has continued to exceed the amount our system and our wholesale water supplier can replenish. As a result, the conservation measures currently in place have not been sufficient to restore and maintain acceptable water storage levels.

To protect the reliability of our water system and ensure an adequate supply for essential needs and fire protection, our water provider has asked to implement the following measures as mandatory:
If your address ends in an odd number, please limit your irrigation usage to no more than 20 minutes between the hours of 4:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. If your address ends in an even number, please limit your irrigation usage to no more than 20 minutes between the hours of 4:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

All shrubs, landscaping and flower beds are to be watered by hand only.

No new sod placement or hydro-mulching/seeding in new subdivisions until the temperatures start to cool off.

No outdoor pool filling.

During this order, customers are asked to limit water use to essential domestic purposes only, including drinking, cooking, bathing, sanitation, and other necessary household uses. Limiting irrigation and other non-essential outdoor water use is necessary to allow both our system's storage and our supplier's storage to recover to safe operating levels.

We understand these restrictions may be inconvenient, but they are necessary to help ensure a dependable water supply for the entire community. We will continue to closely monitor water demand and storage levels and will lift this order as soon as conditions allow.

We sincerely appreciate the cooperation and understanding of all our customers. Working together now will help protect our community's water supply until storage has been adequately replenished.

Thank you again,

Dear Valued Customers,

We would like to thank those who put their community ahead of themselves and conserved water over the weekend. Your efforts have allowed our Tower levels to recover.

As a result, we are pleased to remove the mandatory moratorium on the customers of Centerton Utilities. However, our wholesale water provider still requests that we follow the previous conservation orders of an even/odd day watering schedule, so that water demand does not out pace pumping capabilities.

If your address ends in an odd number, please limit your outdoor usage to early morning hours on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday

If your address ends in an even number, please limit your outdoor usage to early mornings on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

This conservation order is for irrigation use only.

Businesses that require water as their primary source of operation, laundromats, car washes, etc. are also exempt from this conservation order. Please note that this exemption is for operational purposes only. If a business has an irrigation meter for landscaping, they must follow the even/odd water schedule.

Again, thank you all for your efforts in allowing time for systems to recover after last week's water main break.

IMPORTANT UPDATE

To our valued customers,

Despite the community's efforts under the current water conservation order, water demand has continued to exceed the amount our system and our wholesale water supplier can replenish. As a result, the conservation measures currently in place have not been sufficient to restore and maintain acceptable water storage levels.

To protect the reliability of our water system and ensure an adequate supply for essential needs and fire protection, a temporary moratorium on all irrigation and other non-essential outdoor watering is hereby in effect. During this moratorium, customers are asked to limit water use to essential domestic purposes only, including drinking, cooking, bathing, sanitation, and other necessary household uses. Suspending irrigation and other non-essential outdoor water use is necessary to allow both our system's storage and our supplier's storage to recover to safe operating levels.

We understand these restrictions may be inconvenient, but they are necessary to help ensure a dependable water supply for the entire community. We will continue to closely monitor water demand and storage levels and will lift the irrigation moratorium as soon as conditions allow.

We sincerely appreciate the cooperation and understanding of all our customers. Working together now will help protect our community's water supply until storage has been adequately replenished.

For additional information or updates, please contact the Water Department at (479) 795-0222 or visit centertonwater.gov.

Thank you again,

Friendly Reminder from the city and Benton Washington Regional Public Water Authority, as we are still asking everyone to follow the odd/even day water usage to conserve water while BWRPWA and Centerton water systems recover from the recent water main break. Please be cautious of the amount of water you are using on non-essential things.

Also, please use the following schedule for anything more than daily essential water use.
1. If your address ends with an even number, please water on even numbered days.
2. If your address ends with an odd number, please water on odd number days.

We appreciate everyone's help in conserving water where possible while we recover from the main line break.
If you have questions or concerns, please feel free to contact our office.

Thank you again!

Update on Water Conservation Issue:
At this time Benton Washington Regional Public Water Authority has requested a Domestic Use Only conservation order until Tuesday, 7/21/26 at 7:00am. After the order is lifted, please maintain an even/odd lawn irrigation schedule so that we avoid overuse all at once.

There is a significant amount of entrapped air at the front end of our system coming from Benton Washington Regional Public Water Authority, which is expected. We have tested residuals across our entire system and all levels are completely normal. You may experience air in the lines or cloudy water, this is normal following such a large main line issue. The water is safe to drink and use, the color is an aesthetic issue, not a health issue.

However, if you feel that you have an issue unrelated please contact the utility office at 479-795-0222 and we will investigate promptly.

Good Morning Centerton! Centerton Utilities is currently on site working on a main water line repair with the help of Centerton PD and Fire Department directing traffic at Greehouse Rd. This main line repair is affecting services along Greenhouse Rd. including the Starbucks and attached businesses.
Please note, residents may see pressure issues.
Also, the main break may have stirred up sediment, not dirt. If you see this, please flush your lines with cold water to clear it out.
We are working as quickly and safely as possible to get this repaired.
Thank you all for your patience and understanding!
Have a great Tuesday!
