PACT- Promoting Appanoose & Centerville Together PACT is an organization formed by the merger of the Centerville Chamber of Commerce, Appanoose County Economic Development & Main Street Centerville.

We focus on five primary efforts: Chamber, Economic Development, Main Street, Housing and Tourism.

Centerville Produce has had some pretty memorable floats over the years, so we're so excited and think it's especially fitting for them to be sponsoring the "Best of Parade" award at the 77th Annual Pancake Day: Life, Liberty & The Pursuit of Pancakes! A big thank you to Mike and his team for supporting the sweetest day of the year!

We love the tradition and creativity of the parades and can't wait to see what everyone comes up with! For the Big Parade, 1st Place in each of our three categories receives $350 and 2nd Place receives $150. The “Best of Parade” overall winner will receive a $1,000 cash prize courtesy of Centerville Produce!

Free Radon Tests!!! Iowa has the highest average indoor radon levels in the nation. The Iowa average is 6.4 pCI/L compared to the national average of 1.3 pCi/L. Nearly 7 in 10 homes in Iowa test above EPA action level (4.0 pCi/L). Please come in to get your free test, through this grant you may qualify for help with mitigation if your home tests high. Please share as Radon is colorless, odorless, and tasteless.
