Centerville, Indiana Lions Club The Club serves the Centerville, Indiana Community. President: Bob Hobson; Secretary: Wendy Kornman.

It meets regularly on the second and fourth Mondays of each month at 6:30 pm at the Centerville Senior Center, 111 South 2nd Street, Centerville, IN.

Here are the times for both days now for Autumn Oaks, We need help on Sept. 1 - 2 at the Fairgrounds gates.

Friday 9 am to 6 pm -( Shifts are 9 am to 1:30 pm and 1:30 to 6 pm)

Saturday - 9am to 5 pm -(Shifts are 9 am to 1 pm and 1 to 5 pm)

Notify Jim RESH when you can work, so that the schedule can be made. Great way to make some money for our projects to help the community and at the same time help with Autumn Oaks.

The dinner this year is only 12 dollars with a ticket... 13 at the door.

The Centerville Lions Club named three Outstanding Citizens Awards at their annual Community Awards Banquet Monday, May 8th at the high school cafetorium. The Committee introduced each with a biography of their accomplishments and then presented a Lions Club Plaque. Awards were presented to Len Vonderhaar, Greg White and William White of the Wayne County Railroaders Association for restoration of the Centerville Caboose; former school board member Susan Hamilton as outstanding citizenship award for 20 years of service; and Sherri Markley, president of Main Street Centerville for being the Outstanding Citizen of the Year.
Committee members were Phil Stevenson, Dennis Stephen, Mike McCoy and Jim Resh. Jeff Jenkins is Lions Club President.
The Charter Member Award was given to Dawn Otto, granddaughter of Lions Club Charter member Paul Early.
