Mr. Evrard's Advanced Two-Dimensional art class welcomed Indianapolis Contemporary Artist Kate Orr into the classroom this morning to share her oil painting techniques and processes of portraiture. Students were able to hear Kate's thoughts on pursuing art as a profession, her motivations to create, and were able to see how she allows color, light, and value to impact her portraits. We are very thankful to have an accomplished artist visit our students. This opportunity was provided through the Richmond Art Museum, as Kate is participating in their Foster Fellowship program. Click on Kate's website below to learn more about her work.
