Words can’t describe what these two individuals have done for the Town of Centerville Centerville, TN for their years of service . Their dedication is unmatched. To say they will be missed in an understatement. We thank you for taking the call and always willing to lend a hand to anyone that needs it. Roger and Kim are the best at what they do and we will never forget their time here with us. We love yall !

After 30+ years of service, Roger Mays, and after 20+ years, Kim Deal, are both beginning a well-earned retirement. For decades, they’ve been the calm voices on the other end of the line during some of people’s hardest moments, always showing up with dedication, professionalism, and care for this community.

We have truly been honored to have them as part of our Dispatch family for so many years. Their experience, commitment, and presence will be deeply missed, and we are incredibly grateful for everything they’ve done.

🚨 BREAKING: Emergency responders in Hickman County are being recognized with the 2026 EMS Star of Life Award following a critical rescue operation on Highway 50.

📍 Officials say crews from Hickman County EMS, Centerville Fire, and Hickman County Central Dispatch worked together during a serious semi-truck crash to save a trapped passenger under life-threatening conditions.

🚒 Responders used advanced extraction techniques and coordinated communication to stabilize and remove the victim, demonstrating high-level teamwork across multiple agencies.

🏆 The Star of Life Award, presented by the Tennessee EMS Education Association, honors first responders who go above and beyond in emergency medical service.

🎓 The official ceremony will take place at Middle Tennessee State University, where responders will be joined by the patient they helped save.
