A look back at one of Cline’s favorite end-of-year traditions — the 5th Grade Farewell. 🖤💛

Students took the stage to share their talents through music, gymnastics, magic, original skits and more. The show even featured an Olympic-themed teacher and staff performance that had students up and out of their seats!

Congratulations to our 5th graders on a fantastic show and for showing that Cline Kids Care! Best of luck in middle school — the best is yet to come! ✨

The answer is always no if you don’t ask!

Before summer break, students in Dr. Jocelyn Weeda's 6th grade science class at Tower Heights Middle School wrapped up their yearlong iProject, researching topics that really sparked their interest. They were also encouraged to connect with experts in their field of study by reaching out directly.

Student Chloe Hummel contacted Arizona State University to discuss Criminal Psychology and they were so impressed that they sent their Senior Director of Marketing and Enrollment Initiatives to zoom in live to class!

Students got the chance to hear about real-world experiences, ask questions, and explore future possibilities—all because they asked!

Thank you Arizona State University!

Way to go, Tower Heights students! 🖤💛

There are many reasons we’re Proud to Be Home and to live, work and learn in Centerville and Washington Township. One example happened last month at John Hole Elementary.

Students in the classrooms of Mrs. Absher, Mrs. Randolph, Mrs. Kimbrell, Mr. Forbes, Mrs. Moore, Mrs. Levin and Mrs. Eubel got a front-row seat to careers that help shape our community every day.

Eager students heard firsthand from firefighters and law enforcement officers, marketers, politicians, biologists, artists, event planners and waste management professionals, about their work, their career journeys and the impact they make.

Thank you to all of our wonderful community members for investing in our students and helping them see the many possibilities that await them in the future. 🖤💛

This spring, 90 Centerville High School students participated in Le Grand Concours, the National French Contest, joining students from across the country in a competition. The NFC is an annual competition sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of French, where students from all 50 states compete against peers at similar levels of French for awards, prizes, and national recognition.

Their hard work, dedication, and passion for the French language paid off, with many students earning awards and national recognition through this prestigious program.

We are proud of all of our participants who so proudly represented CHS and congratulate the students recognized for their outstanding achievements!

Félicitations à tous!

One of our favorite STEM moments from the school year happened at Watts Middle School, where students in Mrs. Lehmann's and Mrs. Tamillo's science classes put Newton's Laws of Motion to the test with an egg drop challenge.

With help from the Washington Township Fire Department, students projects were first dropped from the roof of the school and the projects that survived that drop got to be dropped from the fire truck!

15 survived the 6m drop from the roof and 2 survived the 32m drop from the ladder truck!

A little science, creativity, and engineering can go a long way and maybe you could try your own egg drop at home this summer, with a supervising adult!
