CPR and AED Awareness Week: June 1st - June 7th
More than 350,000 cardiac arrests occur outside of hospitals in the United States every year. Tragically, 90% are fatal. When someone’s heart stops, immediate CPR and automated external defibrillator (AED) use can double or even triple their chance of surviving. Yet less than half of people experiencing sudden cardiac arrest receive the help they need from a bystander. Take a CPR/AED Course today!

Happy National EMS Week! 🚑❤️
This week, May 17–23, we proudly recognize the dedicated EMTs, paramedics, firefighters, dispatchers, nurses, and healthcare partners who work together every day to serve our community.

This year’s theme, “Improving Outcomes Together,” reminds us that emergency care is truly a team effort. From the moment a 911 call is placed, countless people work side by side to provide fast, compassionate, and life-saving care when it matters most.

At Centerville Fire Rescue, we are incredibly proud of our crews and grateful for the partnerships we share with neighboring departments, law enforcement, dispatchers, hospital staff, and the community we serve. Your teamwork, dedication, and support help make positive outcomes possible every single day.

Please join us in thanking all EMS professionals for the sacrifices they make, the compassion they show, and the commitment they give to keeping our communities safe and healthy.

Thank you for all you do — today and every day. 🚒🚑💙
