The Dolly Parton's Imagination Library has very important work to do to carry on Dolly's legacy and you can see from their statement, that they are determined to carry on. Watch Appanoose AM Thursday morning to learn more about the Drake Public Library's Imagination Library program and how you can donate toward this wonderful resource for children, birth through age 5 in Appanoose County.

💙 NAMI Family-to-Family is Returning This September! 💙

Do you have a loved one living with a mental health condition? You don't have to navigate it alone.

We're excited to offer NAMI Family-to-Family, a FREE 8-session educational class for family members, significant others, and friends of individuals with mental health conditions.

This evidence-based program provides valuable information, practical coping strategies, and support from others who understand what you're going through.

📅 Begins: Monday, September 14th
🕕 Time: 6:00 p.m.
💻 Format: Zoom or attend in person.

We're doing a little bit of weeding and sorting through donations for the book sale tables and someone brought in a few blessing bags. Stop in and find something for yourself on top floor. Books are 10 cents a piece!

LEGACY PORTALS - Would you like to see an actual example of one? Here is the QR code for Governor Francis Marion Drake. Scan it and you'll find photos, the obituary, lots of newspaper articles and even a video! Try it out. And please share so others can see how amazing having a Legacy Portal memorial plaque can be!

A reminder of our hours:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
9am - 5pm
Wednesday
10am - 6pm
Saturday
9am - 1pm
We do close the upper level and computer bays to patrons by a quarter till closing and lock the doors at ten till closing to allow staff to finish waiting on patrons and perform general closing procedures on all three floors of our building.
