We had a great two-hour training session with the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce for our Board of Directors - refreshing our understanding of the important roles and responsibilities of the Board and Executive Director, and how we work together to move our Chamber and business community forward.

We were also happy to have Chandler Ladd, President & CEO of the Hopkins County Regional Chamber of Commerce and Sarah Spencer, incoming Board Chair, join us as our guest today!

We’re excited to welcome Robin Johnston as our new Greenville Tourism Commission representative on the Board! Welcome, Robin!

Congratulations to Jessica Anderson Brown!

🏆 Today at the 2026 Kentucky Rural Health Clinic Summit in Lexington, KY, the Kentucky Office of Rural Health proudly recognized Baptist Health Deaconess Powderly Women’s Health Center as the recipient of the 2026 Kentucky Rural Health Clinic Impact Award. 🎉

What began as a vision to bring more women's health services back to Muhlenberg County has transformed access to care for thousands of patients. Led by Jessica Anderson-Brown, APRN, and supported by Tracy Avery and Amy Powell, the team expanded services to provide comprehensive obstetric care close to home for local families who previously faced lengthy drives for prenatal care.

📈 Since expanding services, the clinic has significantly increased access to women's health and prenatal care, helping more patients receive the care they need close to home.

Through innovation, dedication, and a deep commitment to their patients, Powderly Women's Health Center has restored access to critical women's health and prenatal services while improving the health and well-being of families across the region.

MEGA’s upcoming Expungement Fair is coming up on September 22, 2026, and we’re here to help Muhlenberg County residents take a step toward a fresh start.

If you qualify for expungement, MEGA will cover the $40 application fee when you attend the event. Plus, through our From Record to Expungement grant, eligible residents may receive reimbursement for a large portion of record-clearance costs.

A clear record can open doors to new jobs, housing, and new opportunities.
