It was one of our best turn outs at one of these events and you guys made it clear you LOVE root beer floats!!!
Thank you for being such an amazing community to be apart of and serve.

🥳🎉Happy Birthday America!!! 🎂🎈
Today's the day for parades, fireworks, and ice cream! 🍦🍨
Make sure to enjoy the parade at 11am this morning, and then come on over to the ambulance station and enjoy some delicious ice cream and root beer floats!
Don't forget the firework show tonight, hosted by Central City Volunteer Fire Department at the fairgrounds. 🎆🎇
A day filled with fun, family, sweets and celebration!
We can't wait to see everyone today!

Thanks to the amazing lifeguards at Central City Aquatic Center, we had a great training session last night.
We simulated several scenarios with both a pediatric patient and an adult patient. The lifeguards were able to practice retrieval of the patient from different areas of the pool and start resuscitation efforts while waiting for EMS to arrive. Our providers got to practice team work and special skills necessary with drowning victims.
After running several different scenarios the crews debriefed and enjoyed some well deserved pizza!
Thank you again to the our cities Lifeguards for their amazing teamwork and efforts in working alongside our EMS crew and thank you to our providers for being diligent in keeping their skills and knowledge sharp.

Our EMTs and Paramedics are teaming up with the City pool and their lifeguards tonight and conducting simulated training scenarios.
This will include live tones and real response.
There will be an increase of emergency personnel at the pool tonight around 7p.m.
Do NOT BE ALARMED
This is all mock to help keep our providers sharp and ready for when the real emergencies come in.

Come enjoy some free ice cream sundaes and root beer floats with your local first responders. 🚑

When: 4th of July around noon
Where: Ambulance station (414 H st, central city, Ne.)
Cost: Free Will donation
Who: All are invited!
