Fyn Fasbender, 6th grade, said he’s been practicing for the part of the younger brother his whole life. He was ecstatic to play Eric Lenz’s brother, “Les”. Fyn is the son of Chris and Kiki Fasbender. He’s gravitated towards theater since he started Missoula the Summer before 2nd grade. He loves playing Trumpet in Mr. Alex Steinke’s CCPS Band, taking voice lessons from Mrs. Elaine Wischmeier, playing Basketball with his friends and for Coach Aaron Purvis and Coach Dustin Vakiner. He’s fired up for Baseball this Spring after COVID prevented games to take place in 2020.
He wants to thank his Middle School friends who said they were excited to watch him perform. He also said he was honored to get the opportunity to work with the High School actors and actresses who supported him during Newsies practices. Finally, he’s thankful to have a talented Director like Mr. C who saw his love for music and took a chance on him to study with the talented upper class students.

Join us on Sunday, June 30 at 12 noon when history will be made as Merrick County is receiving its third State Historical Marker. Come celebrate this special occasion at the Heber Hord House. The dedication of the marker will take place at noon followed by tours of the home. Suggested donation is $20 with all proceeds to go to the Merrick County Historical Society.
