Central Falls Residents:

As community leaders it’s not easy to make decisions that impact our community, but we have to put you our community first. COVID is quickly creeping up again, forcing us to make harsh decisions. Tonight the council passed a resolution asking all of our restaurants, bar or establishments that sell food or drinks to close their dining rooms and only offer delivery or take-out for 12 days. You can only imagine how much this will affect them and their employees. We heard from Dr. Fine and Dr. Nelken about how our community continues to be at the center of the pandemic. Dr. Nelken a pediatrician, is testing about 100 people a day and receives more than 300 calls daily about testing. Mind you free of charge for anyone without insurance. These tests are besides the ones being done at the testing site. We have 22 ambassadors walking the streets passing out masks, making sure we are all using them. We all need to do our part.

1. Use a mask
2. Wash your hands
3. Stay home if you’re sick
4. Isolate if you test positive and/or have symptoms
5. Call 211 for resources if you test positive
6. Call 855-843-7620 if you need to get tested.

Please share!

Join me in committing to not dine in any restaurant outside of our city of Central Falls and support our own by ordering for take out.

My family has cancelled our annual Thanksgiving dinner with everyone, which saddens me, but we have agreed to share dishes with one other to try to make it special.

Our health should be the priority of all of us, let’s beat this pandemic together. God bless you!
